Description	Resource Use Education. Sensing the need for vitalizing science teaching in the state, the Southern University biology department sponsored a science workshop designed to encourage science teachers to utilize natural resources-wild and domestic plants and animals-for teaching purposes. One feature of the workshop consisted of seining and dredging for fish and other aquatic animals.
