Description	Workshops and Clinics: In compliance with the theory that one of the most effective means of promoting self-improvement of teachers is to provide opportunities for them to attack jointly problems growing out of their professional situations, Southern University sponsored a series of workshops and clinics for teachers in service. In cooperation with the State Department of Education, a workshop was held for teacher librarians and for high school principals.
