Description	J. Arthur Turner, who had taught “Natural Sciences” at Miner, was the third principal of Miner Normal School. He served at Miner from 1926 through 1930. He resigned to accept a similar position at Stowe Teachers College in St. Louis, MO, where he was also a professor of Botany. He taught biology and zoology at Baltimore Colored High School prior to coming to Miner Normal School.
