BOYD HOUSE (ca. 1915-1920). Formerly the residence of Henry Allen Boyd, president of Citizen’s Bank in Nashville. Served as a dormitory, Honors Center and campus office building. (Still standing)
Hazel R. O'Leary (1937- ). Administrator. Class of 1959. First African American and first female U.S. Secretary of Energy (1993-1997). Served under President Clinton. Presently, the fourteenth President of Fisk University.

Banneker Hall, named for Benjamin Banneker, was built in the very early 1920s. It served as the heart of the school for many years until fire and age spelled its demise.

Kent Hall Was Established in 1884 to Educate Young Black Girls in the Domestic Arts of a Christian Home. This Buiding Also Served as the Library for the College Until 1939.
