Bennett Seminary During the Late 1800's. Two Buidlings are Bennett Hall and Carolina Hall. The Money From Carolina Hall was Donated by the African American Citizens of North Carolina.

Bennett Hall First Building Erected on Campus and dedicated 1878. A Portion of This Building Was Renovated Into an Assembly Hall. Later is Was Known as The Carrie Barge Chapel.
Bennett Hall Was the First Building Completed on the Campus and Was Renovated in 1926. It Was a Three Story Brick Building With a Mansard Roof That Functioned as Library, Chapel, Dining Room, Dorm and Classroom Building.
Bennett Hall, A Dormitory For Women, Was Named In Memory Of Miss Bell H. Bennett; Name Changed To Harper House In 1962 And Served As A Dormitory For Men Until 1971. The Building Was Demolished In 1977.
