The Bennett College History collection contains photographs of campus buildings from the early period of Bennett College. These photographs provide a view of the campus before it became a college for women in 1926. Prior to 1926, Bennett Seminary was a co-ed campus that was founded by the Freedmens Aid Society in the basement of the St. Matthews United Methodist Church.
